The textile hardware store and DIY shop Aha-Mode in Kreuzgasse in Chur are already closed again. At the request of Bundesbern.
Business owner Adriana Pianegonda is at a loss for words. The same day that she reopened her textile hardware store after the crown closed (Thursday edition), she was forced to close again due to a later amended decision by Bern.
“We did everything well and fulfilled all the requirements and requirements,” explains Pianegonda. She did not cheat and did nothing wrong. “The rules simply changed in the middle of the game. On the other hand, you are simply powerless. After forced closure, the question now is why men can buy construction materials, but women cannot buy their wool. “This Bern decision was once again hostile to women,” said Adriana Pianegonda.
Exposed to arbitrariness
According to Pianegonda, the “knights of the canton and the city of Chur” did everything right. “You are as arbitrarily exposed to Bern as we are.” She was even praised by the Chur City Legal Service for setting up everything in an exemplary manner and implementing all safety regulations more than necessary.
“Freelancers like me are paid a daily allowance of CHF 1.60,” said Pianegonda. Due to the blockade, self-employed people would no longer have any income anyway.
“For us, things are far from over, not even after May 11, when all the stores can be opened again,” emphasizes Pianegonda. (lan)
