  • GC wins their first Challenge League game of the season at home thanks to goals from Nuno Pina, Giotto Morandi and Petar Pusic 3-2.
  • The veteran Davide Callà had put Winterthur at the head.
  • In the second game of the night, Thun descended and gave a 2-goal lead against Lausanne Ouchy.

Davide Callà gave the guests the lead in the 26th minute, but GC reacted immediately. Nuno Pina tied just two minutes later. Shortly before the break it was Giotto Morandi who gave the Grasshoppers the advantage. In the 61st minute, Petar Pusic extended the lead with a remarkable 3: 1 free kick. Roman Buess’s subsequent strike from the point in the 69th minute was only an aesthetic result.

Thun delivers the leadership

After 45 minutes, everything looked like a home win for FC Thun against Lausanne Ouchy. Ridge Munsy (minute 6) and Dominik Schwizer (minute 41) had put the Bernese Oberland ahead. But after the break, the locals were under pressure and conceded the tie with a double from Yanis Lahioul (minutes 52 and 63).
