Early in the morning there was a violent head-on collision at Rudolfstetten AG: A delivery truck and a motorcycle collided, the 59-year-old motorcycle driver was killed at the scene, Aargau canton police confirmed to VIEW.
The cause was a failed overtaking maneuver. The motorcycle driver passed a car and collided head-on with a delivery van on the opposite side. The motorcycle driver was thrown into the car ahead. The vehicles caught fire.
Two other victims were taken to the hospital for control. But they are out of danger for life, say the Aargau canton police. The accident occurred on Monday morning, shortly before 7 am at Züribieterstrasse, between the Aargau communities of Widen and Bergdietikon. (hac)
