Jake Angeli (33) aka “Q Shaman” is in jail after the Capitol storm. On Saturday morning (local time) after his return from Washington, he performed in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Since then, the man who broke into the heart of American democracy wearing a leather cap with horns, the naked torso, war paint and a spear disguised as an American flag has been detained.
Now his mother, Martha Chansley, declares in court: Her son has been on a hunger strike since he was imprisoned. Not because Jacob Anthony Angeli Chansley, like his real name, wants to make a political statement with him, but because he strictly and exclusively eats organic food. And these are not served to the front of the Capitol in jail.

But now the physical well-being of Jake Angeli must be taken care of. His public defender said he wasn’t sure if Angeli only eats organic products for religious or health reasons. The judge called the hunger strike “deeply disturbing” and ordered that work be done on Angeli’s nutritional problems.
According to The Arizona Republic, his mother told reporters in court that her son needs the organic diet. “You get very sick if you don’t eat organic food.” Jake Angeli himself was not allowed to appear in person in court.

“Q Shaman” is accused of this
They only connected him by phone because he is in the prison quarantine unit after storming through the Capitol with hundreds during the pandemic. So far he has not made any statements and has only answered routine questions from the judge. He was charged with disorderly conduct, forced entry, and illegal stay on the Capitol grounds. The trial continues, the punishment is not yet clear.
Jake Angeli has already drawn attention to the far-right demonstrations. Since 2019, he has been regularly standing in front of the Capitol in Arizona to spread his crude theories. He knows the truth because he sees himself as a shaman with supernatural powers. Angeli is a fervent supporter of the right-wing conspiracy cult QAnon.
