Over the weekend, the 56-year-old Californian decided not to interview Chris Wallace, head of the “Fox News Sunday” television program. Reade blamed the death threats for the cancellation.

Reade accuses Biden of sexually assaulting her in a parliament office building in Washington in early 1993. At the time Biden was a senator in Delaware, Reade one of his aides. As a result, the aide complained first to her superiors and then to the Senate Human Resources office.

In an interview with the AP news agency over the weekend, Reade specified that he had not mentioned the specific incident in his presentation. “I know I was too scared to write about sexual assault.” Instead, she informed the personnel office that she had felt uncomfortable contacting Biden. In a conversation with a local California newspaper in the spring of 2019, Reade mentioned that the senator had touched her “multiple times.” Reade raised the accusation that he had first penetrated Biden’s fingers with his fingers in late March 2020, in a conversation with left-wing activist Katie Halper.
