In the eighth round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich fell back after 10 competitive matches in a row. Against Werder Bremen, the record champions were no more than 1: 1. Maximilian Eggestein (45th) even made Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt dream of his first Munich win since 2008 in his 100th Bundesliga match. But Kingsley Coman (62nd) saved a point for Bayern.

Gladbach lost outnumbered victory against Augsburg

Mönchengladbach does not advance further. Coach Marco Rose’s team had to be content with a 1-1 win over Augsburg despite the majority. Florian Neuhaus put Borussia ahead in the 5th minute. The guests were outnumbered after the yellow-red against Raphael Framberger (66th) by Daniel Caligiuri (88th) just before the end.

Wolfsburg beat Schalke 2-0 away. For the Gelsenkirchen side, who have been waiting for a three since January 17, it was the 24th Bundesliga match without a consecutive win. Leverkusen (2-1 in Bielefeld) also won an away game. Hoffenheim and Stuttgart split 3: 3.
