George King, 21, risks his life to scale a skyscraper. Dozens of spectators saw on Friday how the young man from Barcelona climbed with his bare hands the glazed façade of the hotel “Melia Barcelona Sky”, 120 meters high.
Having succeeded without losing his life, not only the spectators cheering, but also the policemen were waiting for the 21-year-old, known at the climbing scene as “Daredevil.”
No crazy action penalty
King was held by police for 20 minutes, his agent Bryan Yeubrey told the AFP news agency. But he did not have to pay a fine.
With that, “Daredevil” came down much better than when he climbed the famous skyscraper “The Shard” in London. Because he had scaled the more than 300-meter-high building without permission, he was sentenced to three months in prison at the end of 2019. (SDA)
