A birthday party was held last Friday in Haldenrain, a party with many consequences, as it has turned out now: 23 party-goers can expect to receive an announcement.
(little) In Haldenrain, in Lucerne, there is an old villa that is rented through the Airbnb booking platform, a reader of our newspaper reports in a letter to the editor. Last Friday night, 13 young people had moved there and had a party “noisy and all night until morning,” writes the reader. And also: “Despite notifying the police, there is no peace!” The revelers, he writes, did not heed the rules of the crown or the neighborhood.
At the request of the Lucerne police, media spokesman Urs Wigger reports that on Friday in question at 9:05 p.m. a corresponding complaint was received about the peace disturbances. A police patrol headed for Haldenrain. However, it was renamed in the short term because a traffic accident had occurred elsewhere. When the police carried out a search of the villa shortly before 11 p.m., no disturbances were found.
The villa owner then reported Saturday morning just after 11:30 p.m., Wigger continued. The latter reported a party that was apparently in progress on his property. Police found 13 people in the garden of the house, ten more inside. With the exception of one, all people live in Switzerland: most come from the cantons of Aargau and Zurich, two from Lucerne and Nidwalden, and one person from Basel. The birthday party was dissolved and the young adults had to leave the property in stages. Five people were allowed to stay to clear the mess. According to Wigger, all 23 people can wait for a report.
