German television presenter Birgit Schrowange (62) wanted to enjoy life and travel after her latest RTL show “Extra” last December. Corona now frustrated the Cologne woman. A weekend visit to her fiancé, Swiss businessman Frank Spothelfer (54), at Lachen SZ has now turned into seven weeks.
And Birgit Schrowange also has plenty of time to publicize her recently published book “Unvarnished Birgit – Learned from Life”. For this, the presenter of the German private station RTL accepted a conversation with the SRF magazine “Glanz & Gloria” and was interviewed via Skype for the specially launched “G&G” crown section “Aglütet & Gfröget “
Birgit Schrowange looks forward to the Swiss television air
Journalist Joel Grolimund (27) asked Birgit Schrowange if she did not miss moderation. “Only occasionally,” she replied with a smile. “Then he presents a ‘G&G’ show,” Grolimund suggested spontaneously. Schrowange could not be asked twice. Already next Sunday, it will host the weekend edition of SRF’s television studio company magazine, according to a press release.
“I am very happy to finally get a taste of Swiss television,” says the moderator about her appearance as a Swiss guest. He is Schrowange’s first television presenter, since he delivered his RTL program “Extra” to his colleague Nazan Eckes (43) after 25 years.
