The Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe (BVB) remind you that passengers on lines 8, 35 and 38 are obliged to provide their data from Saturday.

This is as long as you stay in Germany for more than 24 hours. BVB announced on Friday that the data was recorded using the online form on the Deutsche Bahn (DB) website. The database will delete all data after transmitting it to the health authorities.

Registration is necessary because Switzerland will be a risk area in Germany from Saturday. The exceptions still apply to border regions.

In the southern German state of Baden-Württemberg, there is no mandatory quarantine or testing for people from the seven border cantons, including the two Basel. However, this exception only applies to people who do not stay in Germany for more than 24 hours. The reasons for such trips are irrelevant.
