In addition, two restaurant employees were infected. The infections were not noticed quickly enough. A close relative of a wedding guest brings the virus to a care facility about 100 miles from the wedding venue.
Infections in care centers and prisons
The person has clear symptoms and is still going to work. At the center of care, it infects not only several employees, but also 24 residents. Three are admitted to the hospital, a total of six of the infected residents die.
Another wedding guest carries the virus to a prison about 200 miles away. This infected person also goes to work despite the symptoms. He and three employees received positive test results. Subsequently, the virus is detected in a total of 18 of the 43 employees. Another 48 prisoners are infected.
177 infected, seven dead
The sad balance of this wedding with 55 guests: a total of 177 infections, seven hospital admissions and a total of seven deaths, which the US authorities relate to the wedding. None of the deceased was invited to the wedding.
