Hardly any other car brand has made as much of a sensation as Tesla in recent years. Elon Musk’s group has set a new standard for electric cars and autonomous driving. Cars are a status symbol. In Switzerland alone, around 12,000 Teslas have been recorded in the last three years. But driving pleasure is not completely problem-free, at least from a data protection point of view. Because cars are not only a means of transportation, but also monitoring machines that collect data and send it to Tesla in the U.S. We wanted to know more precisely what the Tesla can pick up and we examined a Model 3 together with the Department of Automotive Technology of the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
