A women’s rights activist was killed in an attack in Afghanistan. Freschta Kohistani, 29, was shot dead by armed attackers on a motorcycle in Kapisa province, an Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman said on Thursday. According to the provincial governor, Abdul Latif Murad, the attack took place near Kohistani’s home. His brother also died in the process.
