Starting tomorrow, Saturday, Switzerland will be a risk zone in Germany. Anyone crossing the border must be quarantined for 14 days – There is an exception for the border cantons, i.e. Basel, Aargau, Schaffhausen, Zurich, Thurgau and St. Gallen, as well as Appenzell Innerrhoden and Ausserrhoden and also Jura. They are allowed to stay in Germany near the border for 24 hours without having to be quarantined.
However, if you plan to stay on German soil for more than 24 hours, you must inform the German authorities. BVB pointed this out in a tweet on Friday:

Lines 8, 35 and 38 are therefore affected. Those traveling to Germany on the German railways must also inform the authorities. As with BVB lines, this is done using the online form.
