Los Angeles prosecutors have expanded their allegations about 67-year-old porn actor Ron Jeremy of sexual violence. The 67-year-old woman is accused of having sexually assaulted a dozen other women, including a 15-year-old girl. The investigating authority of the Californian metropolis announced this Monday. Jeremy was taken from jail to court, where the new charges were to be formally presented before him.
Jeremy, who has appeared in more than 1,700 sex movies, was previously accused of raping three women and sexually assaulting another. He was arrested in June. The pornstar faces a life sentence.
Jeremy denies everything
The new accusations now being brought against Jeremy relate to 20 cases of alleged sexual violence. He is said to have attacked the 15-year-old in 2004 during a party in Santa Clarita, near Los Angeles. According to his attorney, Jeremy denies all the allegations. However, he has been accused of sexual violence in the porn industry for years.
Jeremy joins a host of prominent figures in the American entertainment industry who have been accused of violence and sexual assault in recent years.
The wave of accusations of violence and battery against celebrities began with the case of former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, who is now serving a 23-year prison sentence in New York for abuse and rape.
