The Public Ministry calculated the amount of the crime in its notification at 430,000 francs. The now 25-year-old had reimbursed the injured party more than this amount and apologized for her behavior.
Temporary arrest
The rapper, who had her first hit in 2018 under the title “Sunglasses”, was temporarily detained by Lucerne police in 2019, and the prosecution was investigating suspicions of fraud, extortion, coercion and threats. Loredana denied the allegations at a press conference in Pristina. The Kosovar said at the time that she had not extorted money.
The prosecution has now announced that Loredana confessed to having acted illegally in a conciliation hearing. She pretended to be a lawyer, deceived the victim, and made money available. She takes full responsibility for this and apologized for her actions.
The case against the brother has also been dropped.
The hearing took place because Loredana and the aggrieved party had sought a conciliation solution without further prosecution, the prosecutor said. The parties had reached a “comprehensive settlement” in the round scheduled by the Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to compensation, Loredana also pays the costs of the victim and the costs of the criminal process.
The prosecutor announced that the hiring decision was final. There was also a similar decision for Loredana’s brother, who acted as an assistant. Participate in the repair.
The prosecutor bases his decision on employment on a provision of the Code of Criminal Procedure, according to which prosecution can be dispensed with if the conditions for reparation are met. With this solution, based on the principle of opportunity, reparation could be ensured and reconciliation between the aggressor and the victim could be promoted.
