On Thursday, Bülach Hospital announced that CEO Rolf Gilgen will leave the regional hospital at the end of November. The reason for this are the “current tensionsthat the Bülach hospital visibly overwhelmed in recent months after a controversial personnel decision, “he says in the message. Rolf Gilgen decided in agreement with the Board of Directors to retire early. Gilgen has been the executive director of the regional hospital since 2013. Before that, he was director of the Waid City Hospital in Zurich for nearly 15 years. He also chairs the Swiss Association of Hospital Directors (SVS).
