The dispute between stationary pharmacies and Zur Rose online pharmacy has escalated. The Thurgau prosecutor’s office charges Walter Ober hangsli, head of Zur Rose’s mail order pharmacy. This arises from a message from the Zur Rose Group.
The indictment is based on a lawsuit filed by Pharmasuisse in 2011. On the one hand, it involves the delivery of over-the-counter medications. The second is that Zur Rose would have compensated the medical profession for sending electronic prescriptions instead of manuals.
In both cases, the Federal Court of Pharmasuisse had already given the right. As a result, Thurgau’s mail order pharmacy Zur Rose discontinued the controversial practices. Therefore, the public prosecutor wanted to file the 2011 lawsuit against Oberhansli, but Pharmasuisse apparently successfully defended himself against it.
The Zur Rose Group’s board of directors strongly rejects the allegations against his boss and has announced that he will fully support Walter Ober hangli and protect his integrity, he said in a statement.
