Accidents in Arosa, Malix and Vella GR

On Monday, the vehicles left the snowy roads in three places in Graubünden. The course of the accident is similar in the three traffic accidents.

Shortly below Arosa, at 1:30 p.m., a 19-year-old van driver driving down Schanfiggerstrasse slipped on the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned and stopped in the middle of the trees, badly damaged. An Alpinmedic ambulance team verified the 19-year-old’s medical measures and transferred him to the Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Chur.

Summer tire accident

At 4.15pm, a 54-year-old man drove down Julierstrasse from Malix. Immediately after leaving town, his car, fitted with summer tires, slid into the opposite lane and collided with an uphill delivery van. The 54-year-old’s car pulled off the road on the right side and skidded about 150 meters uncontrollably over sloping meadows before coming to a stop, badly damaged. Two ambulance teams from Chur’s ambulance reviewed the medical measures of her and the three people who were traveling with her. They were transferred to the Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Chur for monitoring. The uphill delivery truck was also damaged.

The car remains on the driver’s side.

A 35-year-old motorist drove down Lugnezerstrasse from Vattiz towards Vella at 7:25 pm Shortly after leaving the village of Vattiz, his car began to skid. He left the road to the right and slipped through sloping meadows. On a dirt road he rolled over to the driver’s side and came to a stop lying on the driver’s side. The driver and his co-driver were able to leave the car independently. An ambulance team from the Ilanz hospital checked the driver’s medical measures and transferred him to the Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Chur.
