A car rolled over on the A4a highway and stopped behind the guidance system. The driver had to be discharged from the vehicle and taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon (November 7, 2020), shortly before 11:45 a.m. A 72-year-old driver collided with the guidance system on the left at the entrance to the Zug / Steinhausen motorway heading to Baar, as well as right. As a result, the vehicle rolled over and stopped on the roof behind the right handrail.
The person who caused the accident was released from his vehicle by the first emergency services at the scene. After receiving initial medical attention from Zug’s ambulance service, he was admitted to hospital with unknown injuries.
The exact cause of the accident is the subject of further clarification. The vehicle was destroyed. This had to be retrieved with a crane. During the recovery of the patient and the vehicle, as well as the registration of the accident, the entrance of the Zug / Steinhausen motorway in the direction of Baar had to be closed.
Members of the Zug base fire brigade (FFZ), an emergency doctor, employees of the Zug rescue service, a private towing company and the Zug police were on duty.
