A 91-year-old motorist may have confused the gas and brake pedals when exiting the parking lot yesterday. His Mercedes crossed the parking barrier and collided with the bus that was traveling correctly on Bahnhofstrasse.
The driver was injured and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Significant material damage was caused to both the vehicles and the parking facilities.
The responsible prosecutor’s office in Baden opened a criminal investigation and ordered a blood and urine sample.
The driver had to hand over his driver’s license to the authorities.
