On Saturday morning, three accidents occurred on the A1 motorway in the canton of Aargau under heavy rain. It was left with sheet metal damage, no one was injured.
First, at 8.15 am, a 34-year-old man near Wettingen lost control of his sports car on the way to Zurich, as Aargau canton police wrote. The vehicle collided with another car.
Less than half an hour later, the second accident occurred near Killwangen on the road in the direction of Bern. According to the police, a “powerful” car skidded and crashed into the central barrier. The 20-year-old driver was unharmed.
Heavy collision with delivery truck
Shortly after 9 am it crashed for the third time in Oftringen. A 24-year-old man had gone from A2 to A1. In the transition from one highway to another, he entered a curve at an inappropriate speed, according to police. Then the back of his car broke.
The car skidded on a green strip and then crossed onto A1 and collided violently with a delivery truck. The flying parts also hit a car in the opposite lane. The new driver had to hand over his driver’s license on the spot. (SDA)
