There is a big fight in Aargau. Here the Aargauische Kantonalbank (AKB), the best dog; there’s Credit Suisse, the big bank.
Since the latter disconnected its Neue Aargauer Bank (NAB), things have been looking up on the Swiss plateau. No more CS, so the battle cry.
With consequences: Thousands of NAB customers are switching from the CS affiliate to AKB. This has now been decided by additional turns. Saturday work for all who are summoned.
The Aargauer Zeitung reported yesterday. A spokeswoman said staff would be flexible on weekend shifts. Wednesday afternoon off, but on Saturday morning I work.
You can also handle overtime or minor hours. “One thing is certain: we pay salaries and supplements for work on Saturdays,” the spokeswoman said.
At CS headquarters in Zurich, attempts are being made to portray the uprising in the west as unimportant. Why all the fuss?
But the coldness could be deceiving. In any case, the CS threatens a massive departure of clients and assets in an important national region.
“We are in close contact with our clients who have questions about the NAB merger with Credit Suisse,” emphasized a spokesperson upon request.
What you see is the opposite of emotion. “We have not seen any change in customer behavior since the two banks were announced and we are confident that customers will take advantage of the wide range of solutions.”
But the CS apparently doesn’t just want to wait. Surprisingly announced yesterday a new mobile offering. The first moment in time could be related to the Aargau flood.
