A surprising twist in the case of Marius Müller and his criticism of the referee: proceedings were suspended
The Swiss Football League closes the process against FCL goalkeeper Marius Müller. The German was targeted by the league for his public criticism of Swiss refereeing.
The Swiss Football League (SFL) does not sanction the FCL goalkeeper, Marius Müller, and abandons the process. The wording of the SFL notice:
“FC Luzern goalkeeper Marius Müller will not be penalized for his comments on the referee’s performance immediately after the defeat in the championship match on 20 December 2020 against FC Lausanne-Sport (1: 2). The Swiss Football League match operations judge has decided to suspend the disciplinary procedure. “
FC Luzern does not want to comment on the latest developments when asked. On the home page, the FCL writes about the completion of the procedure:
