A stone’s throw from the motorway bridge in Oensingen SW: two vehicles collide

An unknown perpetrator threw stones from a bridge at passing vehicles on Friday night in Oensingen, in the motorway access road area. Two cars were damaged in the process. No one was injured.

On Friday evening, November 13, 2020, the Solothurn Canton Police Alarm Center received several reports that an unknown perpetrator in Oensingen threw objects from a bridge onto the access road to the A1 motorway.

Several patrols were immediately summoned, which were able to detect several stones in the access road of the highway. Despite an immediate search, the perpetrators could not be arrested. According to current knowledge, two cars were hit by the stones.

Both vehicles suffered material damage. No one was injured.

The police have launched an investigation and are looking for witnesses.
