Disgusting discovery in Vietnam: A tip led Vietnamese police to a factory in the southern province of Binh Duong over the weekend. Agents find about 345,000 used condoms there. The company cleaned them with water, shaped them and packaged them for resale. This is reported by the “South China Morning Post”.
Television footage from Vietnam shows dozens of large bags filled with condoms on the floor of a department store. According to the police, the bags weigh more than 360 kilograms, which corresponds to around 345,000 condoms.
The condoms were washed, dried, and reshaped.
An employee is arrested at the site. They said that an unknown person gave condoms to the factory every month. It is said that the woman boiled the used gums and dried them. They were then remodeled into a wooden penis.
Now the Vietnamese police are investigating the case and looking for other people involved. The condoms were confiscated. A state newspaper quoted a health official as saying that recycled condoms posed an extreme risk to users’ health. Apparently it is unclear how many of the used condoms have already been sold.
