As a ski pilot, Frida Hansdotter has been one of the best athletes in the world for years. A year before retiring, he won Olympic gold in slalom. On a television show in her Swedish homeland, the 34-year-old woman was surprised by her still existing physical condition.
When all the competitors had given up, Frida Hansdotter was still sitting. For a total of 26 minutes. As part of the Swedish television show “Mästarnas mästare”, the former world-class ski athlete manages to do something superhuman.
Between 2004 and 2019, the 34-year-old man ran down the slopes on skis. He made the podium 40 times in the World Cup, 34 times in slalom, Hansdotter’s specialty. Consequently, it celebrated its greatest success among narrow bars: 2018 Olympic gold at Pyeongchang.

Two years later, he surprised his compatriots with a world record session.
Along with five competitors, two women and three men, the sporting challenge was to sit in front of a wooden board as long as possible. The only thing that took hold was the muscular force with which he held his back against the board.
Hansdotter’s colleagues were not made of cardboard. Traditionally, only popular sports stars appear on the popular show that has been broadcast on Swedish television since 2009. In their careers, they must have won a gold medal at a major event to be invited to “Mästarnas mästare”. “Mästarnas mästare” means translated into German: “The teacher of the masters”.
They all found their teacher in Hansdotter. Two of the men were out of the race after just over five minutes. The last one sank after seven and a half minutes.
Hansdotter’s toughest competitor managed 12:02 minutes. Then she too had to surrender with a face contorted with pain.

The existing world record was only a minute away. It was owned by Madgalena Forsberg, a Swedish biathlon legend and German viewers as an expert in her sport at ARD.
“I thought when I broke Magda’s record: ‘Should I give up now?'” Hansdotter gave an idea, according to the “Kronen-Zeitung.” “At the same time, however, I still had strength in my legs and I was wondering if I could do 15 minutes.”
Sitting alone for more than 26 minutes
Hansdotter did not leave it at that. She ignored the pain. It was only after 26:01 minutes that his impressive performance ended. The other participants watched their performance with admiration and cheered them on.
Surprisingly, Hansdotter did not weakly sink at the end of his superhuman performance, but stood up as if half an hour had not passed before.
