Tour operator Hotelplan Suisse is once again extending the freeze on the trip due to the crown pandemic. The travel program is now suspended until May 31, after being stopped until mid-May.
All trips through the end of May will be proactively canceled according to a message from Monday and already paid travel packages will be refunded in the coming weeks. Affected customers should be informed about the cancellation in the next few days.
The costs will be reimbursed
Hotelplan Suisse includes the travel brands Globus Reisen, Travelhouse, Tourisme Pour Tous, Hotelplan and Migros Ferien. Package travel customers of these tour operators receive booking costs such as flights and hotels or cruises automatically reimbursed according to the notification.
According to the information, Hotelplan will only accept new bookings for holidays abroad starting June 1. It is becoming clear that most hotels abroad will not be open before the beginning of June: “Holidays in the Mediterranean or long-distance travel are not yet possible,” says the tour operator.
