On Saturday night, a car accident happened at Holzenbergstrasse in Ziefen.
According to the Basel-Landschaft police findings, the 38-year-old driver drove down Holzenbergstrasse toward Ziefen. On a curve, his car skidded into the rain-soaked lane, crossed the oncoming lane, and collided with the left side of the street. In the end, the vehicle, lying on its side, stopped, as the Basel-Landschaft police wrote in a message.
The driver of the car was not injured in the accident. Significant property damage occurred to the vehicle. This had to be removed by a towing company.
