A Zug police spokesperson confirmed to BLICK that the operation at the end of the highway in Walterswil. The report was received at 1.45 p.m.
When the first emergency services arrived, several campers, a trailer, and the canopy of a residential and commercial building on Sihlbruggstrasse were on fire.
Four people could be saved
Using various respiratory protective equipment, the 50 members of the fire brigade were able to quickly control the fire and prevent the flames from spreading to other campers and the residential and commercial building.
Four people who were inside the affected building could leave it independently. They were examined at the site by Zug’s emergency services, but were not injured.

The cause of the fire is still unclear and is being investigated by the Zug police forensic service. The damage incurred is high.
