In addition to Blue Origin, the Bezos company, and SpaceX, Musk’s company, the third Dynetics company in the US state of Alabama made the final selection, NASA announced Thursday (local time) at a press conference.
Over the next 10 months, NASA plans to pay the three companies around $ 967 million (around CHF 938 million) to design a country before choosing a design.
NASA has announced that by 2024 American astronauts will land on the moon again, including the first woman. However, the so-called “Artemis” mission so far has been significantly more expensive than planned and delayed, making observers doubt that this goal can be achieved.
