HC Davos – ZSC Lions 2: 3
The game: It is a momentous game for HCD – it is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Celebrities complimented him on this. Among others, NHL star Joe Thornton (41, Toronto), who has Davos at his heart. “HCD is a hundred years old now, that’s amazing!” However, from a sporting point of view, the match may be important for the ZSC Lions because they could secure their place in the playoffs early. Aside from the fact that you have to trust Servette to lose points, the Zurich team needs a win for that.
To do this, they first have to make up a deficit twice, because Hollenstein awarded the penalty for which HCD defender Jung was responsible (minute 4). In Prassl’s 1: 1, goalkeeper Aeschlimann lets Andrighetto’s shot rebound and the puck flies over him towards the goal. And Aeschlimann falls backwards onto the ice. He could have injured himself, because Mayer is between the posts in the middle third.
In the 2: 2 equalization, the Davos ZSC captains forget Geering in the slot, he can calmly prepare the record. The jubilee mood is really spoiled by Rautiainen, whose goal to make it 3-2 is the decision. But with Geneva dominating in Lausanne, the Lions are still being denied an early playoff ticket. PS: During your tenure as HCD coach, Christian Wohlwend was unable to win a championship match against ZSC. (NEVADA)
The best: Andrighetto (ZSC). You are already playing at a different level.
The plum: Ullström (Davos). He has no influence on the game, very little comes out of it.
Tear: 6. Corvi (Palushaj, Buchli) 1: 0. 19. Prassl (Andrighetto, Noreau) 1: 1. 23. Turunen (M. Wieser, Corvi / PP) 2: 1. 37. Geering (Andrighetto) 2: 2. 50. Rautiainen (Lasch) 2: 3.

EV Zug 4-0 Freiburg-Gottéron
The game: The EVZ takes the sixth consecutive victory, now stands at 116 points and has thus surpassed the HC Davos record (113) of the 2010/11 season. However, the dominator of the National League has to be patient until his first goal (not least because the guests are stuck in traffic and the game doesn’t start until 8pm).
The EVZ is the team that determines the game, but fails to defeat Gottéron goalkeeper Connor Hughes by two-thirds. The Canadian-Swiss only comes off the post for the fourth time, as coach Christian Dubé has given regular goalkeeper Reto Berra a break two days after final qualification for the play-off.
Hughes has to step in over and over again, stopping 37 shots in the first 40 minutes. The 24-year-old is only defeated for the first time after 43 minutes. And that’s just seconds after Gottérons Yannick Herren alone in front of EVZ goalkeeper Leonardo Genoni failed 1-0. Yannick Zehnder scores for the 17th time this season.
When four minutes later, Friborg’s Philippe Furrer negotiated a four-minute penalty for tripping and complaining, the preliminary decision was made. After a wonderful combination with Kovar and Hofmann, Carl Klingberg made it 2-0. The return of Grégory Hofmann, who played for the first time in 14 games after an upper body injury, scored the third goal himself, but was again outnumbered. (ARKANSAS)
The best: Jan Kovar (EVZ). The top scorer is a scoring machine.
The plum: Philippe Furrer (Gottéron). Your two sentences lead to a decision.
Tear: 43. Zehnder (Albrecht) 1: 0. 49. Klingberg (Kovar, Hofmann / PP) 2: 0. 56. Hofmann (Kovar / PP) 3: 0. 59. Bachofner 4: 0.

Lausanne HC – Geneva-Servette HC 1: 5
The game: The LHC, which spares two of its top three scorers to Malgin and Hudon, doesn’t seem wide awake at first. After just three minutes, the home team has to defend itself twice out of numbers. It works, but Lausanne remains sleepy. And Servette, who needs at least one accountant to maintain the point average for a playoff spot, hits ice cream. In just under four minutes, the Geneva team slipped away 3-0 in the opening third. First top scorer Omark is found after some good preparatory work from Winnik, then Tanner meets Richard without resistance and finally Marco Miranda in the power play.
Twelve days ago the Vaudois managed to turn such a deficit against Biel into a 6-5 victory. And this time, too, the MacTavish team is not giving up. With a great individual performance, defender Frick regains hope after 24 minutes. For exactly 148 seconds. Then Le Coultre reestablishes the three-goal difference with a long-range shot.
In the final stretch, Arnaud Montandon finally made it all clear with the 5: 1. The 29-year-old son of hockey legend Gil Montandon reserved 66 points in the Swiss League for Sierre this season and is now scoring in his first game for Servette.
The Derby mood only emerges three minutes before the end, when Geneva’s Vermin Lausannes holds Arnold liable with massive gang control for his foul against Smons in the first section (see Plum) and sparks a small fight.
However, this no longer influences the result. After three bankruptcies in a row, the Genevans are back on track and defend their direct position in the playoffs. (CS)
The best: Tanner Richard (Servette). Cold as ice at 2: 0 and hands over a clever pass to Montandon the squad at 5: 1.
The plum: Fabio Arnold (Lausanne). The defender sees the decisive 0: 3 after an unnecessary wing check against Smons, who is injured, from the penalty area.
Tear: 11. Omark (Winnik, Vouillamoz) 0: 1. 12. Richard (Vermin) 0: 2. 15. Miranda (A. Montandon / PP) 0: 3. 25. Frick (Kenins) 1: 3. 28. Le Coultre (Karrer) 1: 4. 42. A. Montandon (Richard) 1: 5.
HC Lugano – SCL Tigres 7: 3
The game: HC Lugano reserves the ticket to the playoffs through a crazy final third. This last section does not start to the taste of Ticino people. After just 36 seconds, Huguenin made it 3-1 for Langnau at the bottom. And later? Yes, then HC Lugano will start playing hockey.
Herburger, three times Fazzini, Loeffel and Vedova: Luganesi score six goals. The staggered tigers of the Emmental are relegated to extras. The Langnauers are also a bit to blame: a tiger has to enter the fridge five times in the last third for two minutes.
Tear: 1. Sturny (J. Schmutz) 0: 1, 14. F. Schmutz (Sturny / SH) 0: 2, 31. Walker (Nodari) 1: 2, 41. Huguenin 1: 3, 42. Herburger (Josephs) 2 : 3, 44. Fazzini (Loeffel, Herburger / PP) 3: 3, 49. Loeffel (Morini / PP) 4: 3, 51. Vedova 5: 3, 55. Fazzini (Morini / PP) 6: 3, 57. Fazzini (Arcobello, Heed / PP2) 7: 3.
