The restriction for gatherings with family and friends indoors will be relaxed from five to a maximum of ten people starting March 22. The Federal Council announced it today. This shatters the hope of many Zurich caterers that they will at least be able to serve their guests outdoors or on terraces again. “I am appalled by this decision,” says Gastro Zürich President Urs Pfäffli. “For weeks politicians have been discussing this issue from left to right and have spoken out clearly in favor of opening the stands. Parliament can avoid these debates, because the Federal Council obviously does not care. “
