England: Arsenal are only in a draw
Arsenal have suffered a blow after their victory against Leicester in the Premier League last Sunday. At Burnley there was only 1-1. After Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s first goal in minute 6, Granit Xhaka owed the equalizer. The national team captain shot Chris Wood in his own penalty area, who directed the ball past Bernd Leno and into the goal (39). Arsenal are in the center of the table with 38 points after 27 games.
Spain: Messi’s dream pass leads Barça
Barcelona celebrated a tough 2-0 away win at Osasuna in the First Division. Lionel Messi once again made the difference: the Argentine started the 1-0 victory through Jordi Alba (30th) with a dream pass. He exaggerated the entire defense, Alba kept his nerves free in front of goalkeeper Sergio Herrera. The 2-0 (83) of Ilaix Moriba also put Messi. Thanks to the victory, the Catalans reduced the gap with the Atlético leader to 2 points. However, Barça have already played 2 more games. The Madrid derby between Atlético and Real is on Sunday.
Italy: Morata double in Juve win
Juventus Turin celebrated a sovereign 3-1 home win against Lazio Roma even without Cristiano Ronaldo on the grid. Álvaro Morata got into the gap for the Portuguese: the Spaniard prepared Adrien Rabiot’s 1-1 draw and scored the rest of the goals in just under an hour and in a good 3 minutes. After 25 Serie A games, Juve are 7 points behind leaders Inter Milan and one point behind AC Milan in third place.
