Zug beats Davos – ZSC with a quick win at Rapperswil – Bern beats Ambri
The protest before the games:
Davos – move 2: 7
In the Davos – Zug game (2: 7), the Davos team took the protest of the players too seriously. Meanwhile, after the start of the game, which was delayed two minutes, leader Zug started as the firefighters and the Davos team went on strike.
Leader Zug led 2-0 after twelve minutes and 5-0 in the middle of the game. The absences of top scorer Andres Ambühl, Dino Wieser, Félicien Du Bois (all injured), David Ullström and Teemu Turunen (both ill) cannot explain Davos’ poor performance. The most amazing fact in the game. HC Davos, who have scored the most goals of any NLA team so far this season, only managed six (!) 0: 5 shots on target after 30 minutes.
Yannick Zehnder made it 4-0 for Zug and already has 15 goals this season. The 23-year-old has never scored more than six goals in the National League. Four years ago, in his first NLB season, he had scored 14 times.

Ambri – Bern 1: 4
For the first time in 13 months, Bern celebrated three wins in a row in the National League. Ambri, on the other hand, lost for the seventh time in a row. The Leventines haven’t won any of their last five home games. They only scored six goals in these five home games. In the table, Ambri lagged behind SC Bern, with the same number of points (34), but four more games.
This six-point game had started perfectly for Ambri. Ticino took a 1-0 lead in the 82nd minute with Patrick Incir’s first shot on goal and the first goal of the season. After that, however, it wasn’t long for Ambri: the home team received eight penalties in a row of two minutes. Three of these Ambri penalties led directly or indirectly to conceded goals (at 1: 3, Patrick Fohrler was able to return to the ice from the penalty area immediately before the goal).
For the first time this season, SC Bern commemorates the great SCB, who has won titles with such regularity in recent years. The Bernese have won four of their last five games. And in the last three hits, he won after the delay. And with Cory Conacher in the lineup, who returned to SCB from Lausanne last Monday, Bern won three of three games.

Rapperswil – Zurich 2: 6
From minute 20, the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers were able to play at home against the ZSC Lions for nearly six minutes at most, for 129 seconds even twice. But instead of cutting it to 1: 2, St. Gallen conceded 0: 3 (23), for which defender Patrick Geering was responsible. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Lions.
The 3-0 win was not Zurich’s only foul in this game, 34 seconds before the second break, Raphael Prassl also found himself during a Lakers power play. The Rapperswilers have already conceded 8 and 9 goals against in the current championship, although they had to accept two shorthanders in the same game at 5-7 against Davos.
It wasn’t that the ZSC pitted the Lakers against the wall. The hosts also had good chances, but were sometimes negligent and only scored when the match was already decided. With the Lions, Prassl also scored 6: 1 (58th) after 5-0. The 4: 0 (34th) was achieved by Sven Andrighetto, who also had the stick in the first two goals and scored in the 17th consecutive game.

Biel – Freiburg 1: 4
EHC Biel does not find a recipe against HC Friborg-Gottéron this season. Despite a good start, the Bielers suffered their sixth loss to Freiburg 1: 4 in the seventh direct match (including the cup).
The course was set in the second leg: Killian Mottet, the league’s top scorer, drew 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Then Biel was able to play twice the majority for 110 seconds. The NL’s second-best power play was unsuccessful. Freiburg, the best overpaid team in the league, improved it much later: from their first real power play opportunity, the Freiburg team made it 4-1 after 34 minutes with Yannick Herren (10th goal of the season).
Gottéron consolidated the third place with the victory away. Freiburg recently won three times in a row and seven of the last ten games.

Lausanne – Geneva 2: 3nV
At Lac Léman, the Genève-Servette Hockey Club competes with HC Lausanne for supremacy. The Geneva team caught up with Lausanne on points with a 3-2 win after extra time and won three of the four head-to-head matches in this championship.
Lausanne, a candidate for the title by his own claims, is currently always finding new ways to defeat. The Vaudois led against Servette 2-1 until the 46th minute, but then conceded the tie through Linus Omark. In extra time, Noah Rod scored the winning goal in the 80th minute.
The ambitious Lausanne hockey club have lost the last four games and all after the tours. Servette, on the other hand, has won four times in a row and won six of the last seven games. Linus Omark, who scored three times against the Lakers on Friday, again scored two goals.
