Hischier receives a captain’s armband
A great honor for Nico Hischier: The 22-year-old from Valais has been named captain of his club in the NHL, the New Jersey Devils. He succeeds Andy Greene, who left New Jersey for the New York Islanders. Before Hischier, only two Swiss could wear the bracelet in the NHL: Roman Josi with the Nashville Predators and Mark Streit with the New York Islanders.
