Exposed on the second attempt: disguised as older women, two younger women wanted to get vaccinated against the crown in the US state of Florida.

Health official Raul Pino portrayed the episode at a press conference Thursday to make it clear that there is no shortage of people willing to get vaccinated in Orange County. “We even have people who pretend to be old to get vaccinated,” Pino said. On Wednesday, the two women were noticed at the vaccination center disguising themselves as “grandmothers” with hoods, gloves and glasses and – with valid vaccination certificates from the health authorities – wanted to receive their second dose of vaccination. “I don’t know how they got away the first time,” Pino said.

The US media published body camera videos of police officers confronting the women and denouncing their “selfishness”. “You’ve lost someone’s vaccine who needs it more than you,” one grumbled. Women did not have to fear criminal consequences, the New York Times reported. But they were not re-vaccinated.
