Canton of Bern: factory fire in Urtenen-Schönbühl

In Urtenen-Schönbühl, the external warehouse of a carpentry workshop caught fire early Tuesday morning. The entire fire broke out around 2:20 am, a spokeswoman for the Bern cantonal police said at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.

The room was located near the Schönbühl train station and the A1 motorway. The access road to the train station was blocked, but not the highway. There were no injuries. No one had to be evacuated.
