Queen Elizabeth II knighted him and Prince Harry praised Moore. In addition, the captain honorary promoted the veteran of World War II to colonel.\n\nCaptain Tom, as many still called him, even made it to the top of the UK charts with his own version of the football anthem \"I'll Never Walk Alone\".
