According to the Palm Beach Post, while Donald Trump was serving as president, air traffic was diverted from Mar-a-Lago for safety reasons. The residence is located directly under the main flight path from Palm Beach International Airport. After Trump had to resign, the former president will soon have to deal with airplane noise again.
Trump’s helipad has to disappear
But not with its own airplane noise. Because during his tenure, Donald Trump had a private helipad in Palm Beach. But it will soon cease to exist.
According to the newspaper, the Trump city council is said to have given permission to build the private helicopter landing pad under two conditions. One of them: the landing site could only be used for official presidential business. The other condition: it must be removed as soon as Trump ceases to be president.
The Trump family lives in a smaller space
In addition, Trump has to live in a smaller space than before his presidency. Before moving into the White House, he lived on the top three floors of the Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York.
