It was the first jihadist attack in Switzerland: that Saturday night, the Portuguese Rodrigo G. * († 29) was stabbed in cold blood in a kebab shop in Morges VD. G. had no chance, he died on the spot. The perpetrator is a 26-year-old Swiss-Turkish man known to the Federal Intelligence Service (NDB) since 2017.

Now it’s clear: the killer was part of a jihadist network that includes a Swiss named “Emir” who was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison in Paris. This played a central role in the radicalization of the Morges perpetrator, as reported by «SRF». An ISIS fighter in Syria was also part of the network.
