The Super League match between the Young Boys and Lausanne-Sport scheduled for Wednesday will not take place.
The game between the master and the promoted team should be postponed due to cases of positive corona in the Lausanne team. The Vaud canton doctor on Wednesday ordered a 48-hour quarantine for the climber’s team and supervisors.
Among other things, all Lausanne staff had tested positive for the Covid 19 virus, including coach Giorgio Contini. After quarantine, the equipment will be tested again. It is not yet clear when the game against YB will pick up.
Will more games be postponed?
The next three games of the sixth table of the Superliga are also at risk. The Léman derby against Servette would take place on Sunday, followed by the home game against Basel in a week, before Lausanne visited Bern on Sunday 7 February.
In autumn, the people of Lausanne had several crown cases in their ranks. At that time, however, only the five affected players were isolated, and training and match operations were able to continue.
