Half of the Swiss are in favor of ski blocking

A good third (38 percent) say current federal and cantonal measures don’t go too far.

For another third, they are correct, while the remaining third think the measures are too strict. This is clear from a Tamedia survey and “20 minutes” that these media published this Monday.

If the epidemiological situation worsens, a good half of the people surveyed would be willing to close the ski resorts. A small majority are in favor of PCR testing for people who want to enter Switzerland.

Other measures such as border closures (39 percent), school closings (35 percent) or the requirement to wear a mask outdoors (21 percent) find less approval. Respondents disagree on whether restrictions for vaccinated people should be relaxed. 47 percent reject this, 49 percent can imagine it.

Tamedia and “20 Minuten” had a good 15,000 people surveyed online between January 18 and 19. The error rate is +/- 1.3 percent.
