On Wednesday, the Federal Council wants to reassess the situation of the crown and check whether the current measures are still adequate. A difficult argument seems programmed. As in the last Federal Council agreement of December 30, reliable figures and clear positive developments are lacking, but no worrying prospects.

The federal government fails with Covid vaccines

“We have to move faster, urgently”: Thomas Agoritsas, an epidemiologist at Geneva University Hospital, is one of the many voices calling on the authorities to accelerate vaccination against Covid at the beginning of the year. While Israel has already vaccinated about 10 percent of the population, the national vaccination campaign in Switzerland will not begin until January 4. One reason for this: Israel insured a large number of cans early on and was willing to pay more money for them than other countries.
