England: City win a prestigious duel
Manchester City beat Chelsea in an uncontested 3-1 away win. After half an hour and goals from Ilkay Gündogan, Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne, the game was decided. Callum Hudson-Odoi’s injury-time goal came too late. The Citizens overtake the “Blues” and are now in fifth place (Chelsea 8).
Meanwhile, Leicester City is still hot on the heels of champion Liverpool. The “Foxes” won at Newcastle United 2: 1 and are 1 point behind the “Reds” and Manchester United (33 each) in 3rd place in the table. James Maddison (55.) and Youri Tielemans (72.) scored the goals for the hosts, Andy Carroll (82.) shortened. Fabian Schär played through Newcastle.
Italy: Freuler attends twice
