  • Three days after a landslide in Norway, rescuers with the help of detector dogs found two more bodies in the disaster area.

Emergency services discovered another death on Saturday afternoon in an area where another person had been found a few hours earlier, as Police Chief Roy Alkvist announced earlier in the evening.

No details about the dead

On Friday, emergency services had already found a first dead in the area of ​​the landslide. Before the three previous finds, ten people were missing, including two minors. So far, the police have not provided any information on the sex and age of the three found dead.

The massive landslide occurred early Wednesday morning at Ask in the municipality of Gjerdrum, about 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo. It expanded to a length of about 700 meters and a width of 300 meters. At least ten people were injured and nine houses collapsed as a result of their departure. Around 1000 people were brought to safety.
