Hintermann out indefinitely
Downhill specialist Niels Hintermann suffered a cartilage injury in his left knee when he fell on downhill on Wednesday in Bormio. The 25-year-old from Zurich had to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Thursday at the Balgrist University Clinic. How long Hintermann will be out will be demonstrated with rehab in the coming weeks, Swiss-Ski said.
Adelboden passes the snow checks
The Chuenisbärgli slope has passed the official FIS snow inspection. The race track is now ready for the two giant slaloms on Friday and Saturday 9/8.
