In western and northwestern Switzerland, a strong to stormy southwest wind blows from Sunday afternoon to Monday morning with gusts of 50 to 80 kilometers per hour. Wind speeds of 80 to 110 km / h are possible on hills and in exposed locations.
Especially in the western and southern parts of the country, snowfall can be expected at low altitudes on Monday. The snowfall line is between 500 and 800 meters, partially lower in the south. Snow is expected in Ticino, especially in the southern portals.
