In the Alp Hintergräppelen in the canton of St. Gallen, the temperature was 29.6 degrees below zero at night, as SRF Meteo tweeted on Sunday. The last time the temperatures dropped this much in February.
In the “cold holes” of the Jura and the Alpine valleys, the temperature in Samedan GR was minus 23.6 degrees and in La Brévine in the Neuchâtel Jura it was minus 21.3 degrees, as announced by the meteorological service MeteoNews on Twitter.
