France: Domenech takes over Nantes
Former French national coach Raymond Domenech will coach Nantes in Ligue 1 club. The 68-year-old coach, who has not coached a team since the 2010 World Cup, will receive a contract until the end of the season. He succeeds Christian Gourcuff, from whom the club parted ways in early December. Nantes is currently 16th in the table.
Switzerland: Joël Magnin, new assistant coach of the FCZ
Joël Magnin will be Massimo Rizzo’s assistant coach at FC Zurich. The 49-year-old last worked as a coach at Neuchâtel Xamax, where he was fired in early July. He is not related to Ludovic Magnin, who was fired from FCZ in October. Just a few days ago, the Zurich-based company extended the contract with head coach Rizzo until the summer of 2022.
Spain: Rodrygo has been missing for months
Real Madrid have apparently been without Brazilian winger Rodrygo for several months. According to the club against Granada, the 19-year-old suffered an injury to the right biceps tendon on Wednesday. The newspaper Brand talks about a three-month break.
